Arizona with Brooke Burke
We headed to the desert where we had an incredible time at the Global Ambassador Hotel. Brooke Burke led a morning of mindful movement and shared her take on fitness and menopause. Our 3 lb Uwraps came alive in nature, sculpting in the sunshine (has a nice ring to it, right!?) It was a reminder that your workout doesn’t need a gym, just intention and a few beautiful essentials.
The Ritz-Carlton Bacara with Amy Rosoff Davis
Next, we took movement to the coast for a weekend of luxury wellness with Amy Rosoff Davis at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara. Amy and I met in true Angeleno fashion, set up on a friend date by a mutual friend. I showed up with the wrist weights and we went walking and talking while toning those arms. I'll confess I always hike in the Uwraps.
Okay, back to our wellness day at the Bacara.
We started in the gym where Amy guided us using the Uwraps in both weights as well as the 8 lb Ubarres. One of the best things about these in person experiences is getting to connect and hear what people are really going thru and needing. A through line was definitely a love of the ergonomics and the major versatility of the weight. Plus being stylish weights was a win.
I have to also shoutout one of my newest obsessions that I was introduced to here, and that is Beauty FX bites. Their founder Denise is amazing and I have been eating 2 a day. They are DELICIOUS. A little recap video can be found on our YouTube, but aside from using the Ubarres as upright rows and also leveraging the shape to challenge even further and making us hold them extended, Amy cleverly put the Ubarres around the neck for some extra weight while we rocked some butterfly legs wearing the Uwraps.
Aviator Nation Dreamland Malibu with Kadee Fit
Our journey ended in Malibu at Aviator Nation Dreamland, where Kadee Fit brought together a community of movers, dreamers, and creators. I'll confess, this class brought major sexy vibes, empowering us all to own our bodies and the space around us. There was a moment when we needed a wall (or a pole, whatever works) and a few of us grabbed the Ubarres so we could even further level up that core and arm activation, since in order to stabilize you had to really squeeze. This is one thing I do at home on the counter tops too, and it is perfect for any barre class. Another quick takeaway from this: strap on those Uwraps and simply MOVE your body. This has always been a belief at EQUIPT and was definitely highlighted by Kadee. Plus the wrist weights are adjustable and comfortable, so the only thing you need to focus on is feeling that music.
